the girl who lost her voice

Name:
Location: Melbourne's shining streets, Victoria, Australia

This is a story. This is pure fiction. This is a test. ...but for you or for me? ~.~ On a sunshine filled day like today, I had all the time in the world for you. We lay on our backs in the grass, dancing silhouettes of the canopy above us, tiny little pockets of light escaping through, like sparkling diamonds another world away... In the light, in the noise of all that clarity, we never did communicate very well... ~.~

What Tarot Card am I?

I found this on a friend's blog and was thinking, I have a heap of reading and homework to do so why not procrastinate a bit? :P

Well, yeah that's fine, and how typical I would end up with such a description

BUT

for some odd reason, my friend got the moon too, but her card is so much prettier and my moon card is so scary looking!!

not fair...

c'est la vie

You are The Moon

Hope, expectation, Bright promises.

The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.

The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

Rain

Why don't people understand that I just want to walk in the rain for a while??

The problem is:
you are being precisely who you are, and I am being me...

Last night I walked from Perrache to l'Hôtel de Ville and then to Guillotier.
It rained.
It felt good.
I couldn't explain to her what I was looking for:
an escape, a distraction, a reason...
So instead I said I was looking for Baryton.
And just so I wouldn't be telling a lie,
I found it.
Time.
I'm so high up here I can see the rooftops.
I'm so low down, I can smell the ground.
You can only cry so much. Last night I let the sky
do it for me.
And it drowned me out, the voice that is too familiarly mine.
And it felt good
to not have you on my mind
for a while
Until I got back to my empty-bed,
my empty-ness
and this un-home...
how can I ignore
this?
